Welcome to the Loma Vista PTO website!

Our mission as a non-profit Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enrich the experience of students

at Loma Vista Elementary School, cultivate a strong sense of community, foster respect, tolerance and compassion, and welcome the benefits of our diversity.

We are excited for this upcoming school year. It will be different but we will continue to provide programs and events to engage with our parent and student communities. One way you can continue to stay connected with our PTO is for you to register with Membership Toolkit so that you are always informed about what is happening at Loma Vista.

Our PTO website, powered by Membership Toolkit, is the central place for information about our programs and events throughout the year.

  • If you haven't created an account, please Register.
  • If you already have an account, please Login to update your information.

TUSD School Opening and Safety Plan
for 2020-21 School Year UPDATE

  • All students will attend Loma Vista this year unless you enroll in the Tustin Connect traditional program for the year.
  • There will be morning (8:00-11:00) and afternoon (11:45-2:45) sessions for both Distance Learning and the Hybrid model when we are able to return to school.
  • When not in session learning time, students will have online curriculum to complete.
  • All students will have access to an iPad (more information to come).
  • When Orange County meets the criteria to return to school, families can opt to return to campus, or to remain Distance Learning at home and watch a livestream of instruction in their same morning or afternoon session time.

ANNUAL Data Confirmation DUE NOW!

ALL STUDENTS need data confirmation completed before school starts. This is done through the Parent Portal on a tablet or computer, not a phone. You need to verify we have correct phone numbers, emails, emergency contacts (must have at least 3) and important information, including the school lunch application. This must be completed before August 13.

If you need computer access, call 714-730-7528 for an appointment.

Now more than ever, we are sending necessary important information. Things change daily in these times and we need to get a hold of you. All communication going home will be through email and text, so please make sure your information is up-to-date.

date change: back to school night

Our Back to School Night date has changed to Wednesday, August 12th. This is the night before school starts. The purpose of this is to acquaint yourself with your student's teacher and to hear about the changes, procedures and expectations for Distance Learning in order to set up all of our students for success!

Back to School Night presentations will take place on Google Meet (links will be sent out beforehand to classes) at the following times:

TK/K/1 – 5:00pm & 5:30pm

2/3 – 5:30pm & 6:00pm

4/5 – 6:00pm & 6:30pm

ipad & wifi needs

TUSD is committed to ensuring that all students have the tools they need to succeed for Distance Learning and beyond. TUSD will be able to supply an iPad to any student who needs it for school this year. If you have a device at home that a student checked out from TUSD last year, you can continue using that device. However, if your needs have changed, you can still check one out!

If your student requires an iPad to get started with Distance Learning this year, please fill out THIS SURVEY by AUGUST 7th. You will be contacted about picking up an iPad on August 10th or 11th. If you already have a TUSD or home device there is no need to fill out the form.

ymca childcare

The YMCA is open and offering childcare on campus to accommodate Distance Learning. For rates, availability and program details, contact them at (714) 730-0541.
